TRADITION OF EXCELLENCE

A Brief History

Jim Boone’s commitment to excellence has spanned almost 30 years of collegiate coaching — including 23 seasons as a head coach. During this time, Boone's teams have won nearly 400 games at both the NCAA Division I and II levels.  He has recorded 288 Division II career wins, for an incredible .708 winning percentage, and an average of over 20 wins per year, including 7 NCAA Regional Championship appearances and Two Final Fours.  He has also been fortunate to develop five conference player of the year recipients, and three NCAA Division II All-America selections during his tenure.

This past season, Boone led the Pioneers to arguably the schools best ever season, including an NCAA Division II school record of 20 wins, and Tusculum's first ever at large berth to the NCAA Tournament.
