Winning Edge Coaches Clinic

October 24 - 25, 2009 • Join featured speaker, Head Coach Jim Boone from Tusculum College while he leads clinic sessions on the court, complete with breakdown drills, with an emphasis on the Pioneer Pressure Pack Line defense.  For only a cost of $10 per attendee, this year's clinic includes two exciting days, a coaches social, and along with Coach Boone, features such noted speakers as Murray Bartow, Head Coach of East Tennessee State University, Dean Lockwood, University of Tennessee Women's Basketball Assistant Coach, and renowned clinician, Mike Roller of David Lipscomb High School. 

Jim Boone’s name has become synonymous with winning and the successful rebuilding of down trodden programs. Coach Boone’s teams have recorded nearly 400 wins, making him the 31st active winningest Division II Coach in the nation, while making 7 trips to the NCAA Tournament, including two Final Fours, while averaging over 20 wins per year. Coach Boone’s teams in recent years have become among the South Atlantic Conference and the NCAA’s leaders in Defensive play. Boone’s Pressure Pack Line Defense is a staple in the Boone philosophy of Man to Man Defense and Motion Offense.

June 19 - 20 & June 19 - 21, 2009 • Our goal is to provide your team with the best possible facilities, great southern hospitality, and the absolute best competitive environment possible from which to grow and improve. We want The Winning Edge Team Camp to be the very best of it’s kind in east Tennessee.

Winning Edge Individual Camp

June 23 - 26, 2009 • Jim Boone’s Winning Edge Basketball Camp will feature two sessions running from June 23 - 26. Session I runs daily from 9:00am to 11:30am for boys & girls entering grades K - 3. Session II runs daily from 1:00pm to 4:00pm for boys & girls entering grades 4 - 10. All instruction and activities will be held in The Pioneer Arena on the Tusculum College campus.

Offensive Skills & Shooting Camp

July 27 - 29, 2009 • The shooting and offensive skills camp is our culminating camp of this summer. We feel the most important aspect of this camp is the individual attention and positive approach to teaching that each camper will receive. Session I will focus on Offensive Skills and will run from 1:00pm - 4:00pm on July 27th and from 9:00am - noon on July 28th. Session II will focus on Shooting and will run from 1:00pm - 4:00pm on July 28th and from 9:00am - noon on July 29th.
